Benoni, South Africa – A new chapter in luxury fragrance retail is set to unfold as Sheikh, a premier South African luxury boutique concept dedicated to The Art of Oud & Oriental Luxury, officially opens its doors at Lakeside Mall, Benoni in early June 2026.

More than a retail space, Sheikh is an immersive sensory destination designed to celebrate the rich heritage of Arabian perfumery while redefining modern luxury fragrance culture in South Africa.

Rooted in tradition and elevated through contemporary craftsmanship, Sheikh curates an exclusive selection of imported premium oriental perfume and cosmetic brands, alongside its own signature in-house fragrance line under the Sheikh label, locally manufactured to embody the brand’s distinct identity and refinement.

At the heart of Sheikh is a deeply curated offering that includes rare oud oils, luxury perfumes, bakhoor, incense, scent machines, and premium body care collections for both men and women. Each creation is carefully selected or crafted to reflect storytelling through scent—evoking emotion, heritage, and sophistication.

“Sheikh is not just a perfume boutique; it is a journey into the world of Oud and Oriental luxury,” the brand states. “Every fragrance has been curated to transport customers into a realm of timeless elegance, cultural richness, and sensory indulgence.”

Designed as a luxury boutique experience rather than a conventional retail store, Sheikh invites guests into a refined environment where fragrance becomes art, identity, and ritual. From the deep, smoky richness of pure oud to delicately layered modern oriental blends, Sheikh positions itself as a destination for fragrance connoisseurs and luxury lifestyle seekers.

The launch at Lakeside Mall, Benoni marks a significant milestone for the brand as it introduces a new standard of niche perfumery and experiential luxury retail to the South African market.

Sheikh will officially open in early June 2026, welcoming guests to experience a world where tradition meets modern refinement, and where every scent tells a story.
